Florence Movie Academy with Inflorence Academy are partner of CCTV, that will host a Projection Event to present its original studio show – The Nation’s Greatest Treasures from 18 :00 to 19 :30 on 20 Novenber 2019 at Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy.
The series was commissioned, in 2017, by the Entertainment Channel of CCTV (China Central Television) and produced by CDIMC (CCTV Documentary International Media Co., Ltd.), an affiliate of CCTV. CDIMC producted 20 episodes in two seasons, Season 1 in 2017 and Season 2 in 2018.
The Nation’s Greatest Treasures is a landmark format featuring major museums and their significant treasures. Giving unique insights into the heritage of each item, the format highlights their ongoing significance in modern times. The series featured 17 leading museums and 54 of the country’s most spellbinding treasures This series were very well received across China with the total number of audience for both linear channel and online platforms reaching 800 million viewers for each season. Topics of the show were viewed over 1.88 billion times on Weibo, one of the largest social media platforms in China and participating museums recorded almost 50% growth in number of visitors.
During the Projection on 20 November 2019, Mr. Xiangdong Li, General Manager of will introduce the series The Nation’s Greatest Treasures and speak about the newly established China Media Group on its significance on China’s media landscape.
