Our location
Florence is a wonderful city, especially for art lovers. The city offers numerous sources of artistic inspiration. A real treasure dedicated to all creatives. The cinema academy in Florence is located in Palazzo Guadagni, a historic building dating back to the 16th century. There are eleven classrooms, a multimedia laboratory, a conference room, student recreation room and sun terrace.
This is where the majority of our courses take place and where the magic happens: in the Ponte Vecchio area, in the beautiful Piazza Santo Spirito, surrounded by traditional trattorias, bars, artisan workshops, and everything the city has to offer.

We believe that a training programme should allow students to experience studio life firsthand, providing the most complete understanding of the film and television industry. This is a prestigious, one-of-a-kind opportunity in the region to ensure a highly professional experience at the DNArt studios and to become accustomed to working on a soundstage.
STUDIO TRAINING FOR FILMMAKERS
Our third-year filmmaking students will have the opportunity once a month to take lessons inside a real studio, exploring and putting into practice the professional work of a filmmaker.
Students will be able to make use of the materials available in the studio through a structured educational programme. providing them with the necessary skills for working in this professional environment.
Lessons will focus on the best equipment to use for every situation. Students will be taught how to use these tools as well as their financial value etc. in order understand their value and importance.
They will work on topics related to fashion, still life, and white balance management in the 180° cyclorama of the soundstage.
