Terms and conditions
Art. 1 Registration and participating part
The contract between FMA – Florence Movie Academy srl and the course participant is concluded with the signature and payment of the course. Registration becomes effective upon receipt of payment of the sums indicated above.
Art. 2 Registration data
The course participant expressly confirms that the data provided at the time of registration correspond to the truth and is aware that the communication of false data leads to immediate exclusion from the course. The occurrence of this situation will result in the denial of a total or partial refund of the sum paid for the course.
Art. 3 Payment conditions
Payment for lessons must be made in advance of the relevant period. Payment is considered confirmed only when the corresponding amounts are actually credited to the bank account of the FMA company, indicated at the time of registration confirmation, and are successful.
Art. 4 Delay in payments
If payment is not made within the deadlines indicated above, the participant will be considered in default and FMA cannot be obliged to admit the defaulting participant to the course. The performance due to FMA under the contract remains unchanged and will not be subject to reduction for any reason.
Art. 5 Obligations of the course participant
The course participant assumes responsibility for choosing the course and for its suitability to their level of preparation and interests.
The course participant undertakes to attend the course in person or online, to respect the timetable punctually and to participate in the lessons. If irregular attendance, or any other behavior of the participant, constitutes a source of disturbance for other students or teachers, FMA reserves the right to suspend the participant from lessons. In this case, no form of reimbursement of the sums paid will be provided.
Art. 6 Withdrawal before the start of the course
Enrollment in the course can be canceled by the participant by means of specific written communication, even without the obligation to give reasons. The cancellation must be received no later than 7 days before the start of the course and/or lessons. Failure to do so or in case of receipt of the cancellation after the deadline, FMA will retain the sums paid in its favor as consideration for the professional service in execution of the contract with refusal to refund the sum paid for any reason.
Art. 7 Failure or incomplete participation in the course or interruption of attendance
If the participant does not take part in the lessons, the entire course or part of it, or decides to interrupt attendance, he will not be entitled to any refund of payments already made and will in any case be required to pay the remaining amount of the chosen course.
Art. 8 Complaints and responsibilities
The course participant is required to promptly communicate any complaints to the school secretary or director. FMA declines any responsibility for damages due to illness, accident or injury, loss and/or damage to valuables, personal effects and money, etc., except in the case of deliberate or obvious negligence on the part of FMA.
Art. 9 Audiovisual material
All course participants consent to the use of their image by FMA for the publication of the work they carry out during the course. The video and photographic material is the exclusive property of FMA and will be used exclusively by FMA for demonstration purposes and published exclusively on the relevant social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, website and similar.
Art. 10 Minimum number of participants
In case of failure to reach the minimum number of 5 participants, necessary for carrying out the course, FMA will inform the participant enrolled in the course, by email and/or by telephone, at least 5 days before the start date of the chosen course.
Art. 11 Changes in prices, dates and services
FMA reserves the right to modify at any time the dates and prices contained in the course calendar, published on the Internet or through another means of communication until the contract has been finalized with registration and acceptance of this contract.
Once the contract has been stipulated, FMA may modify the program of services to the extent that the modifications are indispensable, irrelevant and do not have repercussions on the overall content of the course.
In the event that significant changes are made regarding performance, the participant will have the right to withdraw from the contract or request participation in a course of equal value.
In the event that FMA is able to offer a different and satisfactory course for the participant, FMA undertakes to communicate the change to the program to the participant within 7 days, the participant within 5 days of receiving the communication from FMA will be able to communicate the withdrawal and request a refund of the price or participation in a different course with acceptance through the stipulation of a new contract.
Art.12 Duration of the contract
This contract is not subject to tacit renewal, it is effective from the day of its signature until the qualification or final certificate of participation of the chosen course is obtained.
Art. 13 Applicable law, competent court
This contract is governed solely by Italian law, in the event of disputes the competent court is that of Florence, Italy.
Processing of personal data (Privacy):
The personal data of the undersigned are processed exclusively for the performance of professional services in execution of the courses and/or lessons and/or training services, for any communications of an administrative nature, for the carrying out of anonymous statistical studies and for customer satisfaction operations, for the sending of newsletters about our offers and initiatives.
Data processing methods:
In relation to the purposes indicated, the processing of personal data is carried out both with manual tools in paper form and electronically with logic strictly related to the purposes themselves and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data in accordance with the law.
Communication scope:
The data controller is FMA, with headquarters in Piazza S. Spirito 9, Florence, which the participant can contact pursuant to art. 7 of the Legislative Decree. 196/2003, to assert your rights, including the updating, integration and deletion of your personal data.
